Amy Leech – Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

Amy Leech is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In addition to being a CRNP Amy is also certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy ad Advanced Critical Life Support.

Amy achieved both her Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While obtaining her nurse practitioner degree, Amy worked and gained valuable experience as a Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Nurse at UPMC Presbyterian for over five years.

Amy joined Golla Center for Plastic Surgery in May 2011 and maintains the majority of her practice at the Ohio Valley General Hospital Wound Healing Institute. At the Wound Healing Institute, she treats a number of conditions including but not limited to acute and chronic wounds, cellulitis, lymphedema, venous stasis and diabetic ulcers. She is routinely involved in the direct treatment of wounds through debridement, incision and drainage, and packing. With her certification background in Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, Amy directly supervises the use of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber in the treatment of non-healing wounds, soft tissue radionecrosis, and decompression illness. Amy’s wound care practice also takes her to various nursing homes, long-term care facilities and hospitals throughout the Pittsburgh area.

In addition to her wound care practice Amy anticipates involvement in the cosmetic portion at the Golla Center for Plastic Surgery practice. The cosmetic portion of her practice will include such procedures as: invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic cosmetic plastic surgery including but not limited to botox, injectable fillers, laser hair removal, and laser vein treatments.
